Senior Lead Mobile Developer
Location: Stavanger or Kristiansand / Hybrid
Overview
We are looking for a Senior Lead Mobile Developer to lead the development of our IDEX mobile applications. This role will involve utilizing modern frameworks and tools to deliver robust, high-performance mobile apps that support advanced offline capabilities and seamless data synchronization in demanding environments.
As a technical leader, you will shape the architecture, ensure scalability, and mentor a team of developers while delivering solutions aligned with our mission to transform well operations.

YOU WILL NEED
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in mobile app development using Capacitor, MAUI/Xamarin, Quasar, Vue 3, and related technologies.
- Strong knowledge of progressive web apps (PWAs) and hybrid mobile development approaches.
- Ability to work as full-stack developer (.net) for end-to-end synchronization development
- Expertise in implementing advanced offline-first architectures and robust data synchronization techniques for environments with unreliable or limited connectivity.
- Experience leading a team of developers, with strong organizational and mentoring skills.
- Solid understanding of performance tuning, debugging, and deploying mobile apps across iOS and Android platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS) and mobile CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of mobile applications for IDEX using modern frameworks and tools like Vue 3, Quasar Framework, and Capacitor.
- Design and implement advanced offline capabilities, ensuring data synchronization with a cloud-based backend in scenarios of intermittent connectivity and high latency.
- Work closely with the product, design, and backend teams to deliver a seamless and intuitive user experience, integrating with IDEX's cloud and on-premise/edge systems.
- Ensure best practices in performance optimization, maintainability, and code quality to handle complex data and real-time interactions.
- Advocate for cutting-edge mobile development approaches and frameworks to keep IDEX mobile solutions ahead of the curve.
- Mentor and support team members in technical problem-solving and professional growth.
- Act as a technical consultant for mobile strategy, contributing to the long-term product roadmap.
